Maria Lindholm

Maria Lindholm, a dancer from Stockholm/Sweden came to Munich in September 2007 to start her studies at Iwansons International Contemporary School Of Dance and will be finished in July 2010 as a professional dancer. In Sweden Maria has worked as a dancer in a showdance company "Kühler Dance Company". They did several TV-shows and performances e.g. at Scgöagerfestivalen with artists like Carola Maria Häggkvist and Charlotte Perelli. Maria also studied dance in New York and L.A. back in the days her heart belonged to showdance, now it´s contemporary dance and hiphop. At Iwanson´s she got in contact with two other girls who also loves contemporary dance and hiphop and founded their own dancecompany: W.o.W. They mix contemporary dance with moves from hiphop. W.o.W had its premier with the piece "same same but different" at Gasteig at the "Young Professionals" performance in April 2010. During Marias first year in Munich she got in contact with Kitty Hufnagel and neues tanzen and started to work as a teacher. She started with one group, now after 3 years she is teaching five classes in hiphop/jazz and contemporary dance.

Maria choreographed the piece "Stimmungsflimmern" for the "Performing Group" (14 girls who loves to dance) of neues tanzen, which they presented at Munich Gasteig at the Iwanson school project "Junger Tanz Bayern" in April 2010 .
During these years Maria learned a lot and she has also grown as a dancer. She will go on growing in the world of dance! As a teacher, choreographer and dancer. She says: -See you out there, IN THE WORLD OF DANCE!
